Answer
A suspended account blocks sign-in, and the message on the screen is the place to start. Account security reviews happen regularly to protect member balances and keep the platform fair. If the suspension was a mistake, access can be restored by verifying ownership.
When this applies
This fits when sign-in says the account is suspended.
Why an account can be suspended
An account may be suspended for reasons including, but not limited to:
- Operating more than one account
- Search or click patterns that violate the Terms of Use
- Using bots, scripts, or automated software
- Posting content or instructions that encourage policy violations
- Posting inappropriate content on official social media channels or community blogs
The Terms of Use list the account guidelines.
What to do
The options below appear after a sign-in attempt.
Option 1: Complete identity verification. This is the fastest path. If an identity verification link appears, access can be restored through that check.
- Choose the verification link on the screen.
- Complete the photo ID check with a smartphone or a webcam.
- After a successful check, account access is restored automatically.
Option 2: Submit an Account Inquiry. If the verification link is not available, submit an Account Inquiry. A support specialist reviews the account and follows up by email.
If that didn't work
If the photo ID check does not restore access, submit an Account Inquiry. A second inquiry about the same suspension slows the review. Watch the email on the account for the follow-up.
When to contact us
Submit an Account Inquiry when the identity verification link is not on the screen, or when that check does not restore access.
